The Drawing Group usually meets on the 2nd Monday of the month between 2pm and 4pm at St. James Church Parish Hall and if you are interested in joining us, contact the group leader by clicking the link above..

We usually set a theme for each meeting and have a still life presentation but members of the group are also free to bring along any objects they wish to draw. Occasionally when the weather permits we may decide to meet and draw outdoors.

Penny Davies offers help and advice on how our drawings can be improved. Besides sketching pencils we are also free to use other mediums such as charcoal, crayons, pen and ink and may finish off our drawings using water colours. It is a fairly relaxed group and drawing skills vary from novice to expert.
