The core of the u3a is our interest groups. Interest groups are self-managed by Group Leaders from within the Membership, with venue funding support, where necessary, from the u3a.

Group Leaders' knowledge, skills and experience are used to deliver a programme of learning and fun. Group Leaders may edit their own page, or just ask the Website Editor if you need anything changed, or if you need to ask advice on how to update any part of this website yourself.

Please check out the helpful Advice to Group Leaders that the Groups Coordinator has assembled. Group leaders are encouraged to have one of these Risk Assessment (Checklist) Forms duly completed and saved with their Group files.

Please remember that our u3a is run by members for members and that Ems Valley u3a's success is founded on members getting involved in running things as group leaders and/or trustees.
